The comprehensive customs clearance services come as natural extension of C.Hartwig’s offer. They were introduced in 1992, after the company was granted Permit no. 38, issued by the President of the Central Board of Customs, to operate a service in customs matters.
C.Hartwig Gdynia S.A. provides specialist customs clearance services covering: sea, land (truck and railroad), and air forwarding. The company has sufficient security to cover customs debts, thanks to which it is able to offer a simplified clearance of clients’ goods.
COMPLEX TECHNICAL FACILITIES
Thanks to its complex technical facilities, C.Hartwig Gdynia S.A. is able to guarantee quick assignment of customs-approved treatment or use to clients’ goods, including their placement under a customs procedure. The technical facilities are located nationwide and include

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE OF NON-COMMUNITY GOODS
Thanks to customs agents in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, we offer convenient procedures in imports relations with NON EU Member countries. It means that our clients can carry out customs clearance procedures related to the import of items to the EU area in Hamburg, Antwerp and Rotterdam.
EXPORT CONTROL SYSTEM (ECS)
C.Hartwig Gdynia S.A. has been using ECS in clearance procedures ever since its implementation. The system handles customs declarations for export goods. It is based on new solutions, i.e. electronic messages informing recipients of the status of their goods from the moment they are declared at a customs office till the moment they are exported outside the EU customs territory.
AEO CERTIFICATE (Authorized Economic Operator)
C. Hartwig Gdynia S.A. is one of the first companies which joined the AEO programme and successfully completed its first stage. In 2007, C.Hartwig was one of a few companies that were qualified by the Ministry of Finance to a trial AEO program – completed successfully.
The Authorized Economic Operator certificate can be applied for by companies which meet the requirements of the Community Customs Code. The certificate is a guarantee of high quality of services rendered by its holder.
