Management of forwarding
the scope of obligations relating on the side of the Insurance Taker, relating to the shipment, collection or provision of other services connected with carriage of a consignment, including the organisation of its transport.
Forwarding order (single or multiple):
the contract concluded between the Principal and the Insurance Taker, which imposes an obligation on the Insurance Taker to ship, collect and/or provide any other services connected with transport of a consignment or batch of goods (single forwarding order) or several consignments or batches of goods of the same or different kind within the period of time specified in the order (multiple forwarding order)
Freight order (single or multiple):
the contract concluded between the Principal and the Insurance Taker, which imposes an obligation on the Insurance Taker to carry a consignment or batch of goods (single freight order) or several consignments or batches of goods of the same or different kind within the period of time specified in the order (multiple freight order).
One means of transport shall mean:
- a road vehicle, also with one or several semi-trailers or trailers,
- an aeroplane
- a set of rail-cars
- a vessel, excluding non-propelled vessels in maritime transport,
- a barge or group of connected barges in inland water transport
Integral franchise
is the amount indicated in General Contract, to the value of which the insurer does not pay compensation provided the cost of damage does not exceed that amount.
