The prize was conferred upon us by the Polish Chamber of Commerce in the category 'SERVICES' for implementing innovative methods of containerisation of oversized loads and insurance pack which became a standard in forwarding services. This exceptional distinction, awarded each year during BALTEXPO International Maritime Exhibition, was handed in on 2 September 2009. The Golden Anchor statue was accepted by Managing Director Andrzej Kasprzak during a ceremonial gala opening the fair, where C. Hartwig also had its stand.

Golden Anchor in the category 'PRODUCT' was awarded to Gdańska Stocznia Remontowa S.A. for a gas carrier, and Silver Anchor to Polski Rejestr Statków S.A. for IT software which facilitates stability and strength computation for ships.
