1. The Insurer is not responsible for damages specified in the Exclusions clauses of the Institute Cargo Clauses, whenever applicable to the cargo concerned.
2. The following items are not covered by insurance:
1) alcohol beverages (including beer), tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, snuff, pipe tobacco) transported by land,
2) computer equipment, brown goods and mobile phones transported by land,
3) live animals,
4) works of art, objects of significant scientific, cultural or artistic value, as well as coin and stamp collections, objects of value to collectors,
5) pecuniary value: domestic and foreign legal tenders, cheques, promissory notes and other documents used as alternatives to cash in transactions,
6) perishables as specified in the Annex to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of March 13, 2001, item 227,
7) precious metals, platinum, gold, silver and products made of the aforementioned metals, precious and semi-precious stones, pearls,
8) possessions transported as hand luggage,
9) postal delivery,
10) cement, fish meal,
11) nuclear material,
12) corpses or human remains,
13) possessions transported for the purpose of itinerant trade,
14) means of transport transported by open means of transport,
15) cargo transported on the open deck of ships, excluding cargo carried in containers,
16) chemicals, microorganisms, viruses, bacteria, toxins used for the development or production of chemical or biological weapons,
17) non-containerised mass loads, understood as solid, loose or liquid loads transported without packaging or in homogeneous packaging as so-called general homogeneous cargo (e.g. sugar in bags, coffee in bags) in ship holds or in railway cars,
18) satellites, spacecraft, carrier rockets and/or their main parts,
19) gypsum boards in sea transport outside of containers,
20) specimens, models, prototypes,
21) resettlement property,
22) unprocessed wood, transported without cover
3. Within 3 days from the date of receipt of a written application, the Insurer shall present the Policyholder, via agency of a Broker, with an offer of insurance coverage of loads excluded from the Contract.
4. Instances of insurance of loads excluded from the Contract shall be confirmed with individual certificates issued by the Insurer, at the request of the Policyholder/Broker, at the latest on the next working day after the receipt of a written acceptance of the Policyholder of a previously submitted offer of the Insurer. Such certificates shall be passed to the Policyholder by the Insurer via agency of the Broker.
5. In the case of used property insurance, the documents, which will allow the type and technical parameters of the transported property to be specified, shall be required. If the property is damaged in any manner, a description of such damage shall be required.
